The Canadian Defence Coalition (CDC) is a company and alliance dedicated to strengthening Canada’s Arctic and northern defence capabilities. By bringing together government agencies, defence contractors, and private-sector innovators, CDC builds collaboration to advance military readiness and technological superiority. Our coalition serves as a hub for developing next-generation defence solutions, ensuring Canada’s ability to protect its northern borders and uphold its commitments to NATO.
Mission
Through strategic partnership in advanced technology, infrastructure, and skilled labour, CDC supports the growth of Canada’s defence industry. By enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors, we aim to secure national interests while promoting economic growth and innovation in military technology. The CDC partners with leaders in the defence sector and government in ensuring action is taken in protecting our arctic and country.
Rising Threats
Foreign Military Presence in the Arctic – As global powers ramp up their operations in the North, Canada risks losing control over its own territory. We must invest in our arctic and resource protection to keep Canada as we know it.
The Global Fight for Resources – Critical minerals, energy reserves, and freshwater supplies are becoming the world’s most contested assets. With increasing demand and international competition, Canada must be prepared to defend its wealth.
An Unprepared Military – Decades of underfunding have left Canada’s armed forces struggling with outdated equipment and recruitment challenges. Without reaching the 2% defence spending target, we won’t be ready for the conflicts ahead.
